It is within this unique natural environment that maral deer are raised.

During autumn, maral deer graze freely on the highland pastures of Altai.
Their diet consists of dozens of species of mountain herbs, while glacier-fed rivers provide a natural source of clean water, contributing to the region’s unique ecosystem.
RECOVERY PERIOD
During winter, the pastures become snow-covered and the deer move to winter feeding areas.
At this stage, the animals receive a balanced diet consisting of hay, silage, and mineral supplements that support their health and prepare them for the upcoming antler growth season.
A mature maral deer may consume more than one metric ton of feed during the season.

UNIQUE ANTLER GROWTH
During the active growth phase, velvet antlers can grow approximately 1−2 cm per day, making them one of the fastest-growing tissues among vertebrates.
At this stage, velvet antlers contain high levels of amino acids, collagen, and biologically active compounds.
The only mammalian tissue capable of complete annual regeneration.
VELVET ANTLERS
MAY–JUNE: HARVESTING SEASON
Velvet antlers are harvested in early summer, during the period of maximum biological activity.
To minimize stress, animals undergo anesthetic treatment before harvesting. Following collection, the antlers receive primary processing, while blood is preserved for further use.

Within hours of harvesting, velvet antlers undergo primary processing, after which thermal stabilization begins.

Traditional processing technology is then applied, including repeated boiling and drying cycles that may continue for up to 3−4 months.
